Featured Clear Scandanavian? Glass whatsit? Signed by ?

You can see I have a lot of questions about this piece. It is small 5" tall x 2 3/4" across. It is lightly signed on the bottom with what looks like Criz? Fer'c and maybe a year. I've tried to enhance some pictures not too successfully. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Patd

 

Can't help with sig but my guess it's probably a candle holder

 

It looks thick and luscious like good glass, but I don't know.

 

"Criz' could be short for crystal in whatever language.

 

I have one. Also thought is was high quality glass. Mine isn't signed that I can see.
Did you try rubbing cinnamon into the mark to see if letters stand out better?

 

Try French. Second word is France, first looks like a possibly badly signed Lalique. Some modern ones have doctor's writing.
