I thought this would be an easy ID but no…..so I need help please.
It’s heavy and non magnetic with no markings I can see.
    10cm tall.
I know there are British (sorry) replicas out there but they are usually marked Made in England, this does feel well made.
I have no idea if this is vintage or made yesterday!
Is there any way to check the metal it’s made of or as unmarked is it likely unidentifiable?
    Thankyou for looking :)

looks brass to me as well. I would have snagged that. I had to look up Bosse. Added another tidbit to my brain bank.

I wonder how he does on catching bronze mice statuettes. Never heard of Bosse before either.

Lol @evelyb30 haven’t thought of those mice in ages but I’ve got a hundred running around my mind’s eye now.

What a cool cat, @KSW ! I’ve always had living breathing furrybutt black cats, and as such have always picked up similar little pieces. Love the sleek modern look of this one!

    Thanks Rufus!
Cats make excellent subjects don’t they.
I’ve hunted high and low and not found the same one as this online yet. I’ve searched Bosse, Baller, Haugenauer, MCM and Vienna bronze. There are plenty similar mid century from all the makers but no match yet!

I’ve never seen that guy but hope you find out who the daddy is!
People always comment how loving & sweet my cats are, more like dogs my cats are (grrr some of those people, that’s another conversation lol)
But without doubt the black boys (all have been boys, regular shorthair, one Hemingway) are the absolute lovers, sweeter as can be. (Thank you for coming to my TedTalk)

We need to introduce your lurcher to a few bobcats. Or may we don't if you want to keep the doggo for a bit.

I suspect it would be far too late by the time he realised his mistake!

One or two hungry two-stone kitties might have his number. They take down deer.
