Was Mom's; she was born in the same year.
There are many pages filled, as the 6th pic shows, with small cardboard color images of historically significant people or places (similar to cigarette cards).

I wonder if it has more than curiosity value, even in Europe, or the Netherlands.

Hille saw the popularity of the Verkade-albums, which were hugely popular in The Netherlands, and made their own range.
Unfortunately the Hille albums were not as attractive as the Verkade ones, and today they don't have the collector's value Verkade does.

Please note that the condition of yours is nowhere near perfect. Maybe you have a better chance of selling them to Dutch Americans, they love Dutch nostalgic stuff.

Hey, what about the other stuff we grow, which tourists flock to Amsterdam and other cities for.

 

Given its condition, I would say so. Ephemera, an' books in particular, are not my bailiwick...but as in most things, condition is all. MOS called it well; somebody collects them, so there is a market.

I'm not much of a book expert, but it seems to me that this is a good example of book printing from 1912. The printing is very high quality, close to modern quality. Although, perhaps the slow evolution of book printing is the reason for this.
