Featured Majolica drip trinket dish

    I found this trinket dish today for $2.00.
    I'm wondering about origin and age.
    English? Mexican?
    I saw two similar examples online. One was called "1940s Mexican" and another said
    "Victorian". The colors and details were slightly different.
    Any help is appreciated!

    The open salt people would call it a covered salt! They claim a lot of trinket dishes.
