At last, I found an acceptable shade for this lamp! I was holding out for a period green pagoda, but after 8 years... Not gonna happen.

I could use help on identifying the maker, please. The marks are a "C" in a circle, and "O" in an inverted triangle. Edit: or shield, as Sabre points out below.

I like the way the patterns on his black and red robe are scratched back to gold. He is cold painted, correct?

I'm not sure that finial was original. It really looks good with this shade, but it's been a problem since day one. At some point, the screw element was epoxied and then fell out. Affixed with wax. Opinions welcome.

Dimensions: Figure 9” high x 7” wide x 5” deep; Lamp 17.5” total height, including finial

    Thanks!!

Sorry, Scouts, can't help, but I think that the mark on the right looks like an "O" inside of a shield. A minor point, but may help when researching marks.

Is the finial original? Might be easier to search that.

No way to know, as I mentioned above :)

It's cast lucite with Chinese(?) themed horse and clouds... All I got.

Like the lamp - love the shade! Few things bore-down a room faster than a pleated or smooth coolie shade.................

Was thinking a depiction of the Flying Horse of Gansu, but there's no Swallow under a hoof.

    I thought the same, @sabre123 !

Here's my own teeny sterling Heaven's Horse. Remarkably faithful in detail, and all balanced on that tiny swallow:)

Thanks, @Mansons2005 Really happy with it.

The boring black pleated shade I broke down and bought a Lamps R Us barely worked with the lamp, but adding the finial... no.

Hi Scouts! I like your lamp so much! I like your choice of shade and I like the finial on top. I believe this finial would have been original to your Buddha.
