    This is definitely a late 20th century reproduction. I would pick a value of 1/3 to 1/2 of what a new one would cost and be willing to bargain. I know I would not have much luck selling this at all in my semi-rural Midwest location. This is so out of fashion here right now. You might do better in or near a large city.

    Thank you sir. From what I gather, your descriptions and advice seem to be sort of the final word around here, so I'll take your advice. I have it listed for $1200 OBO now, but I'll see if $600 OBO gets any responses.

    I have a tete-a-tete or conversation chair that I bought for my own pleasure about 15 years ago. This image is from the internet but is the same chair and I think it said it sold for $250, but one of the 'eagle' back motif pieces is broken. Min is mint and has lovely upholstery. I'd say you might get $350-$400, but not many people are going to like the white fabric. I do think these pieces were from the mid-70s Victorian revival, although they tend to be identified as "antique" from the 19th century.
