So proud of her little Box Brownie camera. I’m going to keep that one because it made me smile :)

Antique American ephemera tends to have a higher value than British ephemera of the same time and subject matter. I’d imagine that was his point. Typically much higher.

But KSW is in England. She certainly is not disappointed with her purchase.

It's going to be a job of work researching it all - 90 quid is probably a bargain considering the amount of fun to be had figuring it all out!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I sometimes can figure that out, and I know that others here have spoken up in the past about the dates of clothing. @Debora , for one.

I also use other factors in the images to help date them. Hairstyles, card stock, imprints, general look of the photo, etc.

So which ones would you like to know about?

And I totally missed this thread earlier! Would have replied sooner if I had seen it.

And by the way, I do think several of the images would have some value on the market. Maybe not a lot, but they could be salable.

Any particular photograph for dating? At a glance, I see a range -- from late Victorian into the early 20th century. Sleeves with volume likely 1890s. Again, at a glance.
