I'd be grateful to learn the approximate age of this wall mounted French wall calendar. The chrome plated details remind me of the 1930/1940s period, but to be honest, I've really got no idea.
The calendar measures c.25cm x 12 cm. The date is changed by tugging the metal toggles. On the reverse, there is a small retailer's sticker with a Lisbon, Portugal address.

Not something I normally buy, but it does seem to have a certain appeal.

    Thanks !

Could this perhaps be regarded as Art Deco, or are we looking at a later piece ?

I can't read the sticker. Is that the best quality photograph you're able to take?

So a little perpetual calendar in the French language with the sticker of a retailer located at the foot of the Elevador de Santa Justa on a major tourist street in Lisbon. A souvenir item, I'd think, from the 1960s/1970s which saw the beginning of mass tourism. Color and materials both look right for that time frame. I'm not sure how it would affix but... there were lots of first generation car owners in Europe then and lots of gimmicky but charming car accessories were produced to cater to them. Could be one of them.
