Featured Gold and pearl ring

    Fancy that eh.
    Remember this I found 22 months ago.

    It was a gold ring with a real pearl mounted with nearly invisible marks.
    Turns out it was 18k and pearl with Arabic marks.

    I found another yesterday with some other gold pieces and it had the same marks that were too tiny to read.

    Two 22k wedding bands , an engagement ring and an articulated fish to go with the collection.

    Love the gold and pearl(?) ring on the left. Looks like angel-skin coral to me, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed either way.

    I've done a few and found some interesting stuff but not had time to post much.
    This one has British hallmarks and was really dirty.

    Also, does she ever help with the jobs? Just wondering if she has gotten intrigued considering some of your finds. :happy::happy:

    As far as the ring, my eyes were drawn to it immediately. Is it very old or something more recent? :happy::happy:

    The ring is 18k ruby & diamond dated 1878 Chester.
