Nice pig I picked up over the weekend, but I can't work out for the life of me what he's made of. Heavy and feels cool but I don't think ceramic, and certainly not glass. Nor is he resin. Arg,

Could be metal of some kind - bronze/brass/white. Patination can be added to any of them. Doesn't look like there's any wear.

There are deep red tones in all those pics...may be reflections, but if not they suggest copper as a material.
That is a nice porker, fer shure!

I may have to do a surreptitious scratch, see if he's spelter. Those copper tones are actually real.

    I'm particularly fond of pigs.
When I get a round tuit, I'll post pics of some of my porcine friends!

If he feels really heavy he may be legit bronze.

There seems to be a seam around the neck and a white bit under one ear.

The framed modern litho is card by Dale? Rutter. ~5" x ~7"...It was sent by a friend who was alarmed by my hoarding habit. I framed it as a reminder of the danger in such pursuits.
The brown pig is ~6 1/2" long, ~4 3/8" high; made of concrete, it weighs ~37 oz. It appears to be contentedly sitting in mud, much a part of its appeal. It is unmarked.

I'll expand on the 2 others real soon.

He almost looks as though he might have been dipped in something. The details are so shallow.
