Featured Silver? Domed Pin with Lapis-Blue Stones, Very Fine Filigree

More of Mom's stuff...~1 7/8" diameter, central stone ~7/16", the others ~3/16". The clasp is fairly modern, there are no marks.
Three things strike me as showing unusual craft; the size of the twisted filigree wire (~0.035"), an' the quality of the invisible soldering overall...not a hint of overflow, anywhere. Then, consider the 'patina' of the ground, upon which all other metallic pieces are bright; how is that done? Again, I never saw her with it on.
Is there anything worthy of comment in it? Thanks for lookin'!

 

The little rope twist circlets are not evenly positioned, suggesting hand made. Afraid the blue stones look like glass to me, which does not rule out the metal being silver, although possibly 800 fineness.

 

Looks like it was fused together using a colloidal or eutectic soldering process. The whole piece was polished and the areas not having applied patina were coated with a resist like fingernail polish.

North African, and hand made, as Bronwen said.
Not all North African jewellery is marked, but it's worth checking the front for tiny marks. Look for roundish indentations, the French crab mark, which was also used in parts of N. Africa.
They can also be punched on the rope twist border or on the pin.
