I picked up this vase in a thrift shop because I liked the style. It has a "Made in Holland" label on the bottom. It is 7" high and the top diameter is 3.5"

Cool. Many people would think this 50s/60s German. I see no reason why the sticker isn't legit, but I dunno for sure. @Any Jewelry -- have you seen anything like this?

I have, and it is a style that was made in the Netherlands. The label is very 60s. That's about all I can tell you.:sorry:

Would it fit into the bracket of 'gouda'? Maybe not colourful enough.

It wouldn't. It isn't "Gouds plateel", and it has a different colour clay and made in a different period.

It may not even have been made in Holland, but in another part of the Netherlands. Most foreigners only knew/know Holland, so the "Holland" label is considered better than a 'Netherlands' label.:(
Most of the country consists of river deltas and reclaimed land, so a lot of clay, which means many potteries.
