Featured May I Ask What Type of Camera Each of You Uses? Those Who Use Their Phones Aren't My Main Interest.

When I was still selling, I used a Fuji Fine Pix HS 30 EXR. Love that camera for ease of use. I went to a local class led by a professional photographer who works for the local newspaper. I learned how to use all the bells and whistles, but then forgot most of it. This camera has an EXR setting which is optimized for most photos so I just used that. I also have an 8 year old iMac, also will be replacing it soon.

If I were still selling on ebay, I would probably take the time to learn how to use my iPhone to take photos. I can take the photo and have it automatically appear on the phone and my Mac, eliminating one step in the process. My Fuji still takes wonderful photos. I also used Garage Sale on the Mac which I also love, is very inexpensive and well worth it for the nice listings you can create.

 

it's almost sad that the smart phones have destroyed the personal camera industry..

 

Come to think, I don't recall a single camera for sale the last time I went to Staples.

 

I still have my 35mm cam and some lenses here somewhere. I took a photography class in college.
It was not my forte.

 

My late dad taught me on a 120 twin lens that was older than I was. You had to cock the shutter and there was no light meter. Straight load film.
