Every since I was a baby, I’ve had a big love for anything Motown, especially The Supremes.

    From my collection.

A couple of classics I have in my vintage vinyl collection that I love...

The Supremes/Where Did Our Love Go 1964 Motown 45 rpm first pressing

    The Supremes/A’ Go-Go 1966 Motown/Tamla first pressing

These records are in beautiful condition for playing.

I’ve watched as much footage of them as I could on You Tube, but it must have been wonderful to to watch them live “in the moment” on tv. (I was born too late lol) There was so much music from the era that will live on much farther than some of the stuff I have today, that’s for sure!

*I like the song “Buttered Popcorn” an early one by The Supremes, it’s a dancer!

I always meant to try to learn more about the Berry Gordy back story, the video above reminded me, thanks.

May I suggest that you post your records to the general discussion board. While some people enjoy the posts, they cause the antiques to scroll pretty fast. On the general board it will not matter. This is just a suggestion and you may certainly do as you wish. People that have antique questions may scroll off the first page before the right people can answer their question.

@Brazos Thank You for letting me know, me being a newbie the past while. Absolutely I will post in general discussion for future posts, sorry if I may have congested this forum (Antique Discussion) & made it less efficient. Again, Thank You❤️

You are not allowed to be sorry, for you have nothing to be sorry about. Life is a learning experience...from start to finish. Perhaps we all have learned a little something and you can't be sorry for that.

P.S. I am an old coot and I was sixteen years old and in love when "Young Love" hit the air ways. I just wish I could remember who I was in love with. The memory of that sweet young thing fades, but the song never will.

I’m sure she was beautiful @Brazos and yes, a song can take us anywhere the music will lead us. I have much youthful enthusiasm, sometimes too much! Lol, I’ve been told it’s contagious. I agree, life is a learning experience, no matter where we are in body, mind, and soul. Cheers! and happy to meet you, Maven
