I bought this piece in rough shape. It has water stains and scratches all over it. I stripped and sanded then applied a weathered stain to it. Just curious if anyone had guesses on how old it it.

 

It looks like it started life as quarter-sawn oak which was popular between 1890 and 1910.

1900 give or take English sideboard..... imo.....

it's not like we have any information as to where it is, where it came from, or how big it is........

Better wood than anything they sell now.
