Featured Is this an early Derby tea caddy?

    Hi Everyone,

    Could anyone tell whether this tea caddy is Derby or another maker? It has a scripted "D" mark shown in the last photo.

    I wonder if that lid is a replacement. It doesn't seem to match.

    Clearly a marriage. The lid doesn't match the body in design.
