Featured Is my wedgwood dolphin missing its plinth or a different version to others online?

Hi All,

I have this unusual wedgwood dolphin in Basalt but others I have seen online all seem to be on a plinth.

Mine however is marked on under side and wondered if there is a non plinth variety? Marked A 71
