We recently received this mid-century leather chair. It needs a little work, but we still love the chair.

I am curious on the value. I can see that it is on worth point, but I don't have an account. Can anyone tell me more on what it was sold for?

I'm finding Clavos, Inc. as a furniture importer in a 1969 trade directory. That would be about right.

Yep, company seems to have been in business from 1955 into the early 1970s so that's your window. Based in NYC.

Oh, and company name a bit of a pun. Means "nails" in Spanish.
