I'm not sure, but in my world, if I can spent 2 Euros and make $20, that's a fair profit. If Id' done that with all the stuff I sold at auction...
Point of interest. None of the glass in the cabinets above that is iridized (Carnival) was made by Heisey. If it is so marked it is phony. I...
I would expect finer enameling from Moser. The examples I have put that in the shade. (sorry, camera and computer are incomptable.)
Dunno whodunit, but I like it.
This has been bothering me since it first appeared. Nothing constructive to add, however. The handle is very similar to the handles on Libby's...
More pictures, no, I really know nothing about the products of the cutting shops, just about glass in general.
Nope, glass cannot be manipulated once it's been cut. Good cutters are real artists. Good pictures, you might need a larger light box, however....
The last two are not etched but cut, not polished (gray finish). Far more skill involved in cutting.

My take on the pitcher, 20th century after 1930. No bets, however. Never mind the pontil all it proves is that it was once "stuck up."
If that website cannot identify pattern name/manufacturer, it may not be identifiable. I recognize having seen the wares, never knew who made it...
The square dish/nappy/plate is Fostoria's No. 501, AKA Hartford. (Possibly OMN, too. )
There's no reason it can't, doesn't mean they did. Some could be ground and polished flat, some pressed flat. Could be. If you have a piece that...
The "sconce' may be a wall mounted reflector. Well wall mounted, at least, here's a definition A decorative wall bracket for holding candles or...
I really hate to say this, but... Don't hold your breath. Mary Gregory painted snow scenes.
I didn't mean to infer that Machine Etch was incorrect, but to distinguish between Hand Etching, Needle etching, and Machine etching where the...
