Ah, but in the world of pocket calculators, it's OLD! Seems there are collectors of old calculators as I found out in my bit of googling.
How cool that there is so much info on a hobbyist painter. Porcelain blanks are very expensive now, but there are still some of those paint your...
Using google lens brought up some info about the calculator, but not the company which is obviously Japanese from the label. You may have seen...
Well, it's another stunner! Those crests are cool, too.
Very good! I am surprised with that date that there isn't a Derby mark. Cool.
You could very well be right. The fact that Co in the backstamp is backwards might be a clue. What struck me as odd is the reticulated border...
Almost looks Japanese or around the Mongolian area? The shoes look Asian to me, but I know nada.
Thanks for updating us! Very interesting and certainly a lovely and historic piece.

Well, I don't know enough about late 18th/early 19th c porcelain to say. It could be early Derby but that handle is giving me pause. I think...

Yes, I'd like to see a "reveal" photo if you get the overpainting off!
The name looks like Collin, but the gentleman looks to be a generic design of an 18th c fellow. IMHO, I would suggest that it's French and latter...
Google lens no help on the mark, but that logo should be identifiable. Sadly, I don't recognize it. But, is the paint chipping off the vases? I...
I think the photo is upside-down. First letter a V and last an L?
I'm going to guess here at Bohemian/Austrian/German, (wish there was a mark!), and c.1880. IMHO, it is aesthetic design, but with a...
Looks like studio pottery. Did you try a pencil rubbing of the mark?
As much as I love a nice ammonite, I'd probably choose middle row, the second from the left. I find it a pleasing design.
