Yes, there is air in the stem and they ring like fine crystal but I've also found some tiny imperfections in them-unlike fine crystal.

LOL. A "go-along" is something that was made by another company to go along with a pattern of china. For instance, you'll find much glassware...
It's a go-along plate for Pfaltzgraff. The pattern is Amalfi.
I think it's a Staffordshire punch bowl c.1835-1860. JMHO
To me, it has more of a 1950s California Pottery vibe. Much of it was not marked. Here's a link to some similar in style....
Shawnee frequently used the USA mark- both embossed and incised. It looks like Shawnee Pottery to me.
