I think this table is identical to the Mersman I have at the shop. Yours has a little more styling to it so defiantly not it....

That would be if I kept it for myself. If I were selling it I usually just sell as is on high end pieces.
Looking at the pics for this table I could see it with the missing veneer filled in and then covering it with a stripe of black enamel or lacquer...

Looking again, it looks like one of the nails may be galvanized. Also the craftsmanship was off apparently and not nailed in properly and came in...

I would tend to agree with brad. The straight square legs with no tapering at all are not typical of MCM. Not an expert though so possibly wrong....
Hey, I sort of got something right. Just curious as to how the screens attached. Are there probably screw/nail holes on the inside?
I was thinking maybe someone added the holes to the piece at some point to convert it into pie storage. Maybe they didn't care about the screens....
doesn't look like speaker holes. I am probably wrong, but it wouldn't be holes for storing pies? I would guess they would be on both sides.
