It is cathartic to get rid of stuff. But selling piecemeal can be hard work. If it isnt worth much just give it away if need be.

Yes, Wedgwood nearly always marked their wares. Impressed mark looks BP CO for Brownhills as SIS has stated. Nice piece!

I would go for inkwell too. I think it may have had a ceramic stopper to stop ink from drying out
