To me it looks more like Western studio pottery.

I think the small dish dates more towards the first half of the 20th c, Republic period.
That looks like the Rose Mandarin pattern, IMO it dates to the 18th c, Qianlong.
Decoration and shape point towards Chinese Cizhou ware. This is (or wants to be) a Ming wine jar. I am not experienced enough with these to tell...
