Help with initials on ceramic jug

Hi all This jug has a gold painted inscription on the handle base…has anyone anyone seen this before? Kind regards

Brass owl stamp

Thanks...yes I thought it may be bronze but unsure...it has a felt base well stuck done ...unsure if to lift and check at the moment
