Antique Persian Knife Dagger ? Age ? Trying to figure what the origins of the dagger. Seems to be of brass sheath and the blade steel
Now that you mention it seems so. I just tested to scratch and seems easily done . And looking at the other examples online from the link / google...
shouldn't soapstone be able to scratch rather easily ??
Can anyone tell me anything about this ? Maybe what kind of stone it seems like or if anyone has seem something comparable .
