I have 2 Antique Medicine Chests/boxes, this is one [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
It may well be made in the States, unusual to find that combination of woods in Europe.
I look forward to seeing them. I'm 2 weeks into the hardest restoration I've ever undertaken.
It is that age, I'd be very surprised if it's later but I doubt I'm wrong.
BTW be carful of the green paper, arsenic was used if original.
I would say 1810-1830, flame mahogany panel with maple?

Prehistoric mammoth carving? Can't see why something so degraded would be worth keeping otherwise. What were the other lots like?
