Just a WAG, but I'm thinking it may be a horseradish jar.
This vase is almost 12" tall, a good bit of shelf wear on the bottom. The top seems to be either flashed or stained (I always get them mixed up)....
Thanks, guys!
I'm having a senior moment (I have lots of 'em) on who made these 2 pots. I'm pretty sure they're American, probably Ohio. Neither is marked but...
Wow! What a score! Happy for you!
Try Murano or Venetian glass. I found this on Pinterest but couldn't get any info. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/390194755190241977/
Thanks, Carl! I couldn't remember who did that slash mark.
No 1 is a mottled green over beige vase with handles, 7 1/4" tall. No 2 is a maroon oil jar, 12" high. It's marked with numbers 139/- and USA....
Thanks, Joe in PA! I re-measured and mine is 5 3/4”. There appears to be a 0 at about 10 o’clock as you mentioned, so it may be the number 40. I...
This is one of my favorites from the lot I purchased. It's 6" tall. Looks a little like some of the Zanesville glazes but Z's double handle vase...
Thanks!
Can someone help with the marks on this Van Briggle vase? My VB book shows a couple of marks with "Original" but they don't look like this one,...
Yes, Camark! Thanks, verybrad! (Stay tuned-I just bought a bunch of pottery and will be needing assistance.)
The ringman at the auction said this was Roseville, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. The glaze is mottled and the ring "handles" are attached. 7"...
Thank you all very much.
Can you help with dating this pansy vase? It's 7 1/4" tall and marked as shown. I've found that the paper label was added about 1946 and ended in...
FB group says Royal Crown, too. Y'all are the best!
Royal Crown looks like the best possibility. I’ve requested to join the FB group and if accepted, I’ll post there and report back. Thanks everyone!
@*crs* Any idea who made this one? I'm thinking maybe Cole. Someone glued a cork round to the bottom. I've managed to scrape most of it off, and...
Thanks, TallCakes! The closest I'm seeing is The King & Son. It says dimensions range from 6" to 14", so that's pretty close.
