I see it too, could also be a reflection but not sure.
This is the side of the brooch....which makes me think it is plated in gold or even rolled gold [ATTACH]

It’s also in gold colour and there are no hallmarks so it looks to be brass? I tried to reverse search and cannot find anything that looks like it.

I think this one is from the Victorian period but I can’t figure out if this gem is real or what it is. Has a very faint crack on the surface....
I can kind of make out the 925.
