I'd also use Wright's silver polish. It washes off so no polish gets caught in the crevices, which can be hard to get out!
You know it! This week I got an EAPG "Dakota" compote with a sweet fern and berries gray cut design. It amazes me what people get rid of!!!!!...

Hi, your perfume bottle is cut, not etched. The cuts were left unpolished, that's why they are frosted.
Definitely silver deposit. Silver overlay is silver that is formed around the shape, it's thick enough you can get your fingernail under it....
There are bottle collector clubs, I know there is a very active one in Rhode Island. Have you checked for a group like that in your area?
