I would call these chimneys vs shades myself. Might help in your research. Best guess by the style I would say 1960/70s. Just a guess though :)

I would think it is cranberry stain vs a faded ruby stain. I've seen Tiffin KC with this stain. Possibly was made that way
Mauzy's Depression glass book list a 5 1/2" tumbler in Ribbon but does not show an example. Your's look like Ribbon but like you, not 100% certain
