I have had costume pearl necklaces knotted. So that can be an indiction of real pearls or high end costume pearls.

Hi, your perfume bottle is cut, not etched. The cuts were left unpolished, that's why they are frosted.
Definitely silver deposit. Silver overlay is silver that is formed around the shape, it's thick enough you can get your fingernail under it....
There are bottle collector clubs, I know there is a very active one in Rhode Island. Have you checked for a group like that in your area?
