Can't tell for sure on wood type from images - walnut or oak ? I really put them a notch above the 'inexpensive turn of century'. Decent turning...
French metal casting at it's best. Always impressed with their 19th c. pieces.
Thank you both . . .
Anyone know what country the mahogany used by Victorian era U.S. furniture makers came from . . . Honduras or Africa ?
I believe the lamp is a mid 20th c. piece. The bright electro plate is what one would see in the 50's -60's. That white plug is definitely 50s -60s.

Doesn't look particularly old - England made brass lights & lanterns in the 60's. Today, south Asia makes them.
Asking prices for Cushman has been high in my opinion (Ebay) - the more dramatically designed pieces of the 30's-40's do bring hundreds often. The...
It's Cushman - N0. 0152 is 'Stephen Fay vanity bench' made 1940-43. During WWII plastic tags were used due to metal shortages...
Looking for some detail on company history . . . they were in Boston and made railroad and ship lights.[ATTACH]
Looks like it may be a weight driven clock... may have two pully's on top for weight's ? If the movement has springs, it's not weight driven. The...
