The size is width 12 cm en height is 9 cm . Weight is 1.9 kilograms
No clue yet but hope time will tell but I don't think there made locally .
I think there a least from the 18th century or earlier but I need to find something similar in design first
If you hold it than you see its not moulded so it is a piece off folk art from probably Africa I think
I hold it and had it good look and it is as old as it looks . So important would be now the country or area where these kind off mortars where used .

The neck is cracked and the metal is by the looks etched in this shape . So ceramic vase surrounded by red copper afterwards gilded (tested gold)...
