That looks like 4-color process printing, loupe a color magazine page and you should see the same pattern.

The thing on the pin stem is a clutch from a stick pin. Not original to this pin, someone just used it as a safety in case the clasp opened.
Looks like a table I would expect to see in a company's waiting room with magazines etc. on it.
