The 10M is supposed to be for microns thickness of plate. By the wear evident it is not even that.

I'd use bits of clear epoxy in the joints carefully applied with a toothpick. Have a paper towel ready to wipe off any on a visible area.
Not likely to be styrene with those swirls. Probably a two part mix, similar to epoxy, which is poured as a viscous liquid into the form in two...
