The fact that they are in Mexico leads me to believe that they are Spanish colonial. I think they are more in the style, than period pieces....

I also think older. Styling suggests circa 1870. The wishbone mounted mirrors were pretty much out by 1880.

Agree, not antique. Probably post-war European. Chair could be a bit older. The desk and chair don't really match but do go nicely with each other.
Sometimes circular cracking is due to an impact to the painting. Otherwise, I am not sure. There is probably some kind of scientific explanation...
Agree that this is late 20th century. Maybe Italian?... or a lot of this kind of over-the-top furniture is made in Egypt.
Looks right to be an old one to me. As said, there are a lot of these out there and not sought after like they used to be.
These will be nearly impossible to find. Not a common configuration for this type of French styled hardware. Most are cast as a single piece....

Agree, 1900 or so and not a matched set. Chairs may actually be just a tad later.
Some came in identical pairs. When in use, one faces in and the other out so appear different.
