Mixed woods. Back rail and arm rail are oak. Spindles and legs look like maple or birch. Seat looks like birch. Not antique.
I like the first painting quite a lot. The second, not so much.
Agree with Jeff. Compare this to other 20s buffets of similar quality and condition. The brand is of little consequence in this case.
Interesting piece. My best guess is Spanish Colonial origin. Whether a newer revival piece or several hundred years old, I am at a loss.

Not Eastlake. Late Victorian. Might consider it to have some Empire (pillar and scroll) influence. Turn of the century Tub chair.
English oak 20s-30s. Doesn't look like it needs much to me. Not terribly valuable so sprucing it up will not devalue.
Post the pics. I rarely recommend sanding. Most furniture can be touched up nicely or refinished without sanding.
Values are really location specific so probably can't help much in that regard. What I could get here in semi-rural Midwest (not much) will not...
