I use mineral oil I get at CVS for wooden bowls, works great and doesn't go rancid.
Can you lightly polish the silver? You may find more marks if you do. If you are going to polish, NO TARNEX!!!!!!!!!!

That is a saucer champagne, not a wine. They don't sell at all for me, the only way I can sell them is if the shape resembles a martini glass...
This is Ruby Red glass, Cranberry glass is bluer and not as dark :)

Boucher should be marked on the back with the company name and possibly a number. The number would help date the piece.
It could have held solid perfume, more plausible than poison ;)
