It's a carp, if that helps. The metalwork looks Japanese to me, but the two countries ping-ponged designs back and forth. Still do, probably.

I tried. Both were inert. The custard beads on the necklace glowed though. Haven't tested the rest for bakelite/celluloid yet.

Sure. Most of the beads I find are included and aren't considered gem grade. Gem grade quartz isn't included or cloudy unless it's rose quartz....
