Thanks Stephanie! That's it!
I got these three bowls recently. I'm hoping someone can help me with the mark. The smallest one is 4 1/4" across the top and 3" tall. Thanks!...
It sounds great. Let us see some pictures when you have a chance. We can wait...... :D
Ooooooooo - I can't wait!!!!
That's a lovely color. Very rich. I grew up in Bedford, MA. There's an old house in the center that's the same color.
Sorry James - I was referring to Jeff's house - he had Susan Buck research the original colors.
So what are the original colors? Geez - you can't post something like that and then not tell us! :)
Good thing you didn't throw it away! :)
That's why I asked if it was soldered. It seems less likely it's just a wrapped up bundle of wire. It could be a brooch with a missing clasp.
Is the knot in the middle soldered?
Hopefully his mom collected the good ones!!!
I guess it depends on what a whole lot of money is to you: This one sold for $359:...
Thanks allfakes - that was beautiful. But it made me want to cry.......
I also found a mandolin book from 1897 - never used. I'm about 1/3 of the way putting them into the spread sheet - up to 174 books now....
How about some NEW violin music? Do you still play? :)
Thanks fig. I am trying to avoid filling up the spreadsheet, but frankly, it's probably just easier and quicker to do that, much as I don't want...
I ended up with these several weeks ago - don't ask - it's paper, so of course I took it. Anyway, I have several hundred piano music books...
It looks like it may have had a plain metal top:...
Ah - that link makes me sick.
Oh, and Coke ads do sell well, even in this size. I'm not so sure about other print ads - people seem to like the Life magazine size.
