I saw the Thai markings and the UK import marks and went ????? No idea who made the book chain one, but it's been around a few.
German, Dutch or Scandinavian probably, post-WWII and probably on the newer end. Beyond that, dunno.

Glass they are. The side view gives it away. Real coral isn't formed like that.
