It's missing the bottom plate. You can see the nail holes in the bottom of the slide.
One is damaged but I've had similar items that are so rare, they still sell and for good money.
They're porcelain. The foot was there when I looked at them. It may have been lost after being looked at by the crowd. They're just so unusual.
