Rajasthan, to be precise.
Yup, and that Shelley isn't deco enough. The only Royal Albert that sells is OLd Country Roses.
Bohemian/Czech moulded glass pendant bead. Might be 1930s.
Middle East or India wouldn't use that roll back. I've seen some far sloppier British - and other European - stuff.
Indian, definitely. Hard to tell the age: made in Colonial times and still being made.
We're fussy about hallmarks, to say the least. Which means sometimes, you can pick up stuff for peanuts, as in the Indian silver charger I got for...
Hm. Depends on the gold weight and diamond carat. I'd have said a bit less - maybe top end of £300 to £500 here. That's auction.
I think that came from India in the 60s or 70s. It's very typical of the hippy stuff I was buying back then.
Lovely thing. I'd think slightly later, perhaps 1950s. I could see that selling very well here. Nice diamonds for one thing.
Red coral. Hot pin.... ARGGGGG! Never! 1950s or60s celluloid or similar, and I'd wear them. So would many of my goth and wiccan friends.
Traditional Scandinavian Christmas candle holder, linked with the feast of St Lucia.
Studio, rather than MCM.
I've just realised I have earrings as well. Ma bought them in the 60s - so I really do think this is a British maker.
Thought you might like a look at mine. Plus, a brooch I'm sure is the same maker. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
White ones are quartz, I can't make out the black ones. Has a bit of age, given the cotton thread and that screw clasp.
I'll lay odds that little case is Spanish.
I love Louis Wain cats. He went insane in the end. Your little cat was made in around 1914 - or at least, that's when the design was registered....
Probably made by a company called Queen Anne in the 60s or 70s, too.
Post WW2 would be my thought, too.
I think it's later. The diamonds look too bright for old cut. But we do indeed need the back.
