1930s or so Revival, agree. Possibly Czech with that brass and art glass. Buy a Sunshine cloth and clean it gently.
I have three of those bowls. They were originally silver plate over brass and they come from India, British Colonial period. Mine are around 1860s...
The more I look, the more I think cologne. Which is what I'd use it for, anyhow. Nice thing.
That colour isn't Pukeberg to me.
They're trying to be Satsuma in style, but look like hobby painted.
The Goss is indeed a little bit of crested ware. They used to be wildly collectible, but are now of minimal value unless they have an odd shape.
Moulded glass, with a pattern or shape number impressed in the base. I'd think 1960s or later.
Yup. Kiln Craft always did that sort of blocky MADE IN ENGLAND thing. This one is a dead pinch on a Hornsea pattern.
Too short for alcohol. More likely to be for perhaps oil or vinegar from a cruet set. or more likely cologne. I doubt it's Dresser: his designs...
It's a coffee pot, by the way.
I think it's probably that af and I have seen a great many of those lions in our time!
Partial British hallmark, so probably added.
Yup, they made their own glass, and sometimes it's signed. I think this needs a tall cylinder shade, something that stands well above the base.
Me too, I'm keeping it. There's one for sale on line for 450 euro. ;) Need a shade now.
It's WMF Ikora, circa 1930 - original fitment. Bought for absolute peanuts at an auction. I liked it, then someone id'd it for me.
HAH! I know what this is. ;) [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I've seen modern Comyns stuff like this.Filled silver.
I've got one of the little jade ones, bought it in BC. The other one is Japanese? Hah!
I suspect the Tobys are Kelsboro.
Bet that bear is Canadian.
