Yup. This is Ditmar Urbach Alienware. 1910s or thereabouts.
Grapes and vines suggests something linked to drink to me.
I use a Doulton Lambeth stick stand every day. It's as found, but doesn't show, hence why I got it for fifty bucks. ;) I've an old towel inside...
You can still see through it, and it has a fineness. I'd agree that's pottery. The more I look, the more I think Scottish.
I had a teeny tiny folding cheroot mouthpiece like that - shape of an acorn only smaller.
Most welcome, johnny, as ever. :)
Certainly looks toddy to me, rather than punch. Both are yummy. ;)

Toddy ladles are a lot smaller than punch ladles, as the drink was far boozier. ;)
Interesting indeed. 19th C calling AND business cards here were far smaller than modern ones. I have some of my great grandfathers. I've seen...
davey, I thought it looked like a Vesta, too. Nice thing.
Somettihng in my head says Asian.
Spongeware rather than spatter. If not Adams, it may be Scottish - a lot of this was made there in the 19th and early 20th.
Later, as it has no R. Very nice.
I don't think it's anything exciting. Pressed mass produced glass, and probably quite cheap. Sorry!
Now there's a thought.....!
And to me, but I don't know the mark.
af, these seem to have Schraeger lines, but I'll look properly again with a loupe. Thank you!
They're both keepers. ;) The brooch was all of eight dollars, too! I love matt gold and she apparently made these in proper 14 ct plate.
AHA! Many thanks all, that makes sense. Much obliged.
