I knew before I even looked at the mark. It's Arcoroc, made by one of the J G Durand companies. Recent pressed glass, inexpensive. Useful mixing bowl.

Definitely not majolica. It also has artificial crackelure and aging to the base. The red mark looks Chinese and that's where I suspect it came from.
