I agree. To bring more then $75-100 it would need finer metal work on the upper portion, such as this 1920's example with a period metal mesh...
Does appear to be a screen print process, but a hands on look would confirm. # of units printed this way are generally fairly low - 30 to a few...

The base itself looks early and I've seen several such bases with no switch . . . 1880-95. One would have to see it's internal parts to I.D....
