No, doesn't look right really.... usually their side chairs often had no stretchers. I don't have a catalog photo of this chair, #6185, but looks...
Hard to see in the photo but legs are mortised through & wedge inserted. Cushman was known for quality. I've had about 15 of their 1930's-40's...
No. 6185 is the Cushman 'Barrel Back Boudoir Chair' manufactured between 1936-43. The hole almost certainly done after, although it's not out of...
There are a few of these linocut prints offered on Ebay - 'Mondo - Godzilla Raids Again'
I know upper left says 'Godzilla', but the rest ?[ATTACH]
Same piece . . . I think the seller calling it Godzilla may be a stretch - looks very dinosaur like with reptile like scales, but who knows what...

Smithsonian site is a great resource - thanks.
Anyone know what year the company started using this signature in photo ? [ATTACH]
Leather seat portion is nice, many early 20th c. chairs had a vinyl type of material. Looks to have a mahogany stain on a lighter wood, possibly...
Looks like 1940's, most likely a stained poplar ... doesn't look like walnut or mahogany from photo. Value is minimal IMO, but folks do like...
likely a mixed metal construction - spelter, steel & brass which was electro plated with a brass finish (now well worn). A magnet test would ID...
# 4-123 was called 'Taper Chair' and was only made in 1934, making it scare. Cushman only made a couple different three legged chairs in the mid...
Socket details would be easier to see with a shade off photo . . . looks like a acorn pull chain, most likely a HUBBELL socket made in Bridgeport,...
