It looks and smells old. Provenance came from an estate sale on Long Island. I thought the hand made wood peg poke out due to wood shrinkages?...

No mark. That’s the weird part. Solid Cast bronze and no mark
No didn’t take picture. Just clear bottom and a hole. Will try take pictures next time take apart
I took it apart. It’s a vase. But I think it was made into part of lamp right away
Yeah the stamp looks Japanese with only 2 characters but rest of the color patterns looks Chinese. Didn’t think it would be Ming old but...
